Basketball freestyle NBA Rookie of the year LeBron James and NikeGO Renovate Five Basketball Courts He Grew Up Playing On in Akron. Several of the Refurbished Basketball Courts Made from Re-Used Basketball Shoes. LeBron James returned to Akron today to dedicate five refurbished basketball courts donated by James and NikeGO. The venue of the event would be in Ed Davis Community Center. That place has a big history to LeBron James; it is where he worked and practices his skills. LeBron stated that this is very important to him to refurbish the court. He spent so much time growing up on this place. Sports play such an important role in fostering a healthy lifestyle
and teaching kids the value of hard work. A group of local youth
basketball players will participate in a basketball clinic led by
James and local coaches. It’s nice to see that Nike and LeBron
donated with the local Akron youth in such a short time. Orginal essay by Jacie C. Carvajal
